Fatwood Firedrops are the newest addition to the Fatwood family of products. These safe, non-toxic Firedrops have a long shelf life and are created using the leftover highly resinous sawdust waste from our Fatwood Firestarter sticks combined with a paraffin wax binder. Firedrops leave behind no residue, burn hot for up to 20 minutes and can be safely used in any indoor our outdoor fire such as fireplaces, chimeneas, wood & pellet stoves, firepits and campfires. Firedrops are also make the perfect addition to that survival kit or "go bag".

Wood Stoves For most wood stoves:

1. Place two Fatwood sticks into the chamber.
2. Place your seasoned hardwood on the sticks, allowing some room for airflow
3. Light one end of each Fatwood stick
4. Adjust the damper and enjoy your wood stove fire.

Pellet stoves For most wood pellet stoves:

1. Place two Fatwood sticks into the burn pot.
2. Light one of the ends of each Fatwood stick. NOTE: Depending on the stove type (manual or automatic) this step may not be required. The operating instructions for your specific stove will vary.
3. Start the stove and monitor it as the auger begins to drop wood pellets into the burn pot. The Fatwood sticks will quickly ignite and spread the fire to the surrounding pellets more evenly.
4. Adjust the damper and enjoy your wood pellet stove fire.
